Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Aquatic Kid Safe ("the App") handles information when you use the mobile application and its companion backend at https://api.aquatickidsafe.cc. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
Who we are
Aquatic Kid Safe helps parents and guardians run short, supervised swim lessons at home. It provides a curriculum, drills, safety articles, a quiz, and safety tips. The App is a teaching aid. It is not a substitute for an adult within arm's reach, professional swim instruction, or emergency services.

Information we process
The App uses a device-generated identifier as its only server-side identity. There is no account and no password. Swimmer names, photos, ages, lesson sessions, drill results, and safety-check notes that you enter stay on your device. On our servers we may process: the anonymous device identifier; requests for the curriculum and safety content pack; anonymous usage counters (event name and count only); and, if you allow notifications, a push-notification device token registered through OneSignal.
How we use information
We use this information to operate the App: deliver the curriculum and safety library, count anonymous usage so we can keep the service reliable, and send push notifications you allow. We do not sell personal data. We do not use lesson notes or children's names for advertising.
Storage and retention
Lesson records stay on your device. The device identifier is used for rate limiting and to count daily activity as a truncated one-way hash; it is not shown in the App and is not a user account. You can remove local records with Delete all data in Settings. For a request to delete server-side data tied to your device identifier or push registration, contact the developer at the email above.
Push notifications
If you grant notification permission, the App may register with Apple Push Notification service through OneSignal so we can send operational alerts. You can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings. Weekly lesson reminders and session recap prompts that you turn on in the App are scheduled on the device and do not require our servers.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We may use infrastructure providers (hosting and push delivery) strictly to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the App and its users.
Children
The App is a tool for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our servers. Names, ages, photos, and lesson notes you enter about a child remain on your device unless you contact us and include them yourself.
Your choices
You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete local data in Settings. You may decline or disable push notifications in iOS Settings. For privacy questions or deletion requests, contact the developer at the email above.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are published. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
